On October 15, 2005, the President of Middlebury College presented each of the three Middlebury 2005 national champions with a ring during half-time at the homecoming football game. Two of the three champions are KMS alumnae, Megan Hughes '01 and Khristoph Becker '02.

Kristoph, a junior at Middlebury, became the school’s third NCAA individual champion, as he captured the title in the javelin with a toss of 205’11”.

Megan, who also attended KMS took the 2005 Slalom championship.
