PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Killington Mountain School philosophy centers around creating a strong technical base to build well-rounded skiers who can react to the tactical, technical, and environmental aspects of ski racing in a skillful manner. Athletes train Tuesday through Friday and on weekends when no competitions are scheduled. They have the tools to advance up the competitive ladder as far as their motivation and potential will allow. Our ski racers receive a strong introduction to a healthy lifestyle and are presented with many other important life skills through the format of competitive skiing. Participants in the KMS alpine racing program train and race in all four disciplines: downhill, slalom, giant slalom, super G. Training takes place on a wide variety of terrains, across all seven mountains, depending on the needs of the groups.
